Andrew Morton’s Jolie Bio – you can say that again

Andrew Morton is working on an Angelina Jolie bio. If his material sounds familiar it should. It sounds like 90% recycled gossip with a few ‘admissions’ thrown in for creditability (‘terminated’ pregnancies, boob jobs, and a Jennifer Aniston vendetta – nothing you couldn’t have worked out for yourself). Morton doesn’t seem to go near the hot stuff – like her relationship with James Haven, or whether she and Brad Pitt are on the rocks. With her former body guard about to release a tell all maybe this is a diversionary tactic? Since stuff is gonna come out you may as well tell your version first.

Angelina Jolie signed up for a new role

Remember that break Angelina Jolie keep promising to make – well no such luck. Angelina has signed on to play fictional medical examiner Kay Scarpetta in a film based on the popular series of novels by Patrica Cornwall. No word on which novel the film is gonna be based on. Jolie is still hashing that out with the writers. Fan reaction is kinda mixed, and by mixed I mean dubious. Fans of the series feel that Angie ain’t really Kay Scarpetta material, and that some one like Edie Falco might be more appropriate for the role. That might be a little harsh on Jolie. She’s is beginning to look a little like Estelle Getty lately!
